North Dakota Stockmen’s Association announces 2016 membership recruitment incentives
The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association (NDSA) kicked off its annual Membership Contest with the announcement of this year’s prize, one year’s use of an Arrowquip Q-Catch 8500 Portable Tub and Alley System donated by Envision Cooperative of Towner, N.D.
“We are excited to offer our members a great incentive to welcome new members to the Stockmen’s Association and to be working with Envision Cooperative to reward cattlemen and women for their help in building our organization’s long-term strength in North Dakota,” said Warren Zenker, NDSA vice president and NDSA Membership Committee chairman of Gackle, N.D.
NDSA members have already began their 2016 recruiting efforts. This year’s top recruiter will be awarded the Arrowquip Portable Tub and Alley during the closing business session of the 87th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Minot, N.D., in September.
The 2016 membership incentive package also includes the NDSA Bull Bucks drawing. This year, the Bull Bucks prize is valued at $2,000 and is good toward the purchase of a bull or female from any of the sponsoring Bull Bucks ranches. Both membership recruiters and the new recruits are eligible.
Recruitment prizes also include an NDSA wool vest for the second-place recruiter and an NDSA sweatshirt for the third-place recruiter. Members who recruit more than 20 members will receive an NDSA jacket. Those who recruit between 15 and 19 members will receive an NDSA vest; between 10 and 14 members will receive an NDSA shirt; and between five and nine members will receive an NDSA cap.
Last year, Zenker was the top membership recruiter. Paige Burian, a Manning, N.D., rancher, was the 2015 Bull Bucks winner.
