NDSAs role in the legislature

NDSA'S ROLE IN THE LEGISLATURE

An important benefit of your membership is the lobbying efforts of the North Dakota Stockmen's Association. The NDSA keeps an eye on property taxes, property rights, international trade, health regulations and other issues affecting your business and bottom line by lobbying state and national lawmakers and advising administrative agencies.

You're busy calving cows, feeding calves and pushing snow, and that's why the NDSA is at the Capitol, on your behalf, representing your interests.

NDSA members can subscribe to the weekly Legislative Ledger that is emailed on Friday afternoons. It will update you on the bills we're tracking and give you a complete schedule of the hearings set for the week ahead.

The 66th Legislative Assembly will convene in January of 2019.
