The Environmental Stewardship Award recognizes cattlemen and women whose natural resource stewardship practices contribute to the environment and enhance productivity and profitability.
 
State winners selected by the North Dakota Stockmen's Association advance to the regional and national levels. 
 
Winners are recognized at the Stockmen's Association's annual convention banquet and a $250 cash prize.
